Buying 2010 A3 - package questions
Hey everyone!
I'm getting ready to drop the cash on a new 2010 A3 - I thought that I had the spec figured out using the on-line configurer (the salesman at the dealership was pretty much useless):
Originally, I was going to get the 2.0T / Quatro with Premium package - mainly for the lights and the power seats. The premium package costs $3050 in Canada and includes xeon lights, power seats, bluetooth, and the rain sensor.
However, I started looking and then it dawned on me that I could get the sport package and just purchase the Xeon lights extra all for about $3900. This would get me the magnetic ride suspension, upgraded wheels and tires and the sports seats. I would then purchase a second set of wheels / winter tires (which I had planned to do anyway)...
So, I guess my question is are the sport seats better than the stock power seats? Are the sport seats powered as well? If so, then it's almost a no-brainer to do this (unless you DON'T want the upgraded suspension), as the rest of the premium package (blue tooth - which again you can purchase extra) and rain sensor are not good bargains in the premium package. Really, the only real reason to purchase the premium package is for the lights and the power seats.
Any info would be appreciated - thanks!

Re: Buying 2010 A3 - package questions
I just looked recently at the 2010 A3 pricing. Is it accurate that the premium package no longer includes the daytime LED lights? This is what I am seeing:
non-premium: halogen
premium: xenon
$900 more: xenon + LED daytime
non-premium: halogen
premium: xenon
$900 more: xenon + LED daytime
