I recently bought H11 and H7 HId kit for my 06A3, however the lights are flickering hardcore, so I bought 2 relay harnesses and hooked them up to the battery. Now, my low beam is doesn't flicker as much however sometimes when I brake it flickers so I had to turn them off then on to reset.
When I turn on Highbeam, low beam just flickers even crazier....

this is killing me

Can someone please help me with this problem? I live in hamilton and I am willing to pay and travel as much as needed if someone could fix them for me.

I read some other forums saying I may need to hook up it up with VAG COM, there is an autoshop in Georgetown I know that has VAG service, however they only do it with customer's instructions.

hey! i had the same problem when i did my hids on my 06A3 as well! it all got fixed wit flicker boxes! i know somebody that can get them! they are like 50$ each! u will need one for each pair of hids!

Flicker box for the HID kit??

This flicker issues seems to be generated by the ABS system.
Sometimes, the HID ballast will bother the ABS system but in your cases its the HID thats getting bothered.

normally this flicker problem can be also cause by the Daytime running lights that Canadian cars have. The DRL module out buts lower voltage and can make the ballast do these crazy flickering.

check out to see if your Low beams have the DRL or if your High Beams have the DRL.

If the Low beam's have the DRL, then your issue can be caused by this!
