I miss driving,

My car started to buck, barely made it home. No engine light. Opened the hood smoke/steam was coming out of oil cap and dip stick tube. No oil in the engine.

After investigation of error codes, which led me to change some sensors. Same issue engine was not holding oil. Turns out the oil was being sucked into the intake system via the turbo. I guess theres an oil seal and now turbo has to be pulled before i can drive it.

For now i suppose im going to put my k03 back in (once i pull the broken stud). New k04 from dealer is $1900 tx , i can also source a new one for around $1200 tx or theres a turbo shop that quoted me $700 to rebuild. New gt28rs with oil and coolant lines about $2000. What do you think i should do?

Also, i do have rs4 injectors but i suppose if i go bt i would still have to pay $700 for new tune which sucks.

Its getting fitted with a new k04 at the dealer, should have it back today or tomorrow. Hope it alright.

Would anyone have an idea of what my cars worth if i were to sell it?

06 Audi a3 with 125,000klm. Premium package (no sunroof, s shifter and s shifter boot, vei guages boost, iat, volt, and afr), unitronic k04 with all supporting mods (forge twintake, 3" turbo back bb exhaust, s3 injectors, s3 intercooler),koni coils and stock suspension(stock currently installed), a few other little mods(short shift, catch can, dv, adjustable dv spacer, r8 coils)and full alpine type r stereo (10&12 in the trunk so no trunk, could be removed).

Driver seat has a tear othert han that the car is in great shape, no dents or scratches. A few rock chips in the hood.

Just curious to see what people think its worth. ..

New k04. It was still smoking for a bit, but now its pretty much gone. Need to adjust the wastegate tho, I saw a peak of 30psi. Definitely want that around 22-24psi. I forgot how much I love driving this car, its so comfy and a total sleeper.
