No the aggressive wheels in the back.. lol 45 MM is Bigger then 40 MM , you mentioned earlier both rims are at 17 X 8, therefore the rim with the bigger offset goes in the back to keep the staggard appearence..

If its a front wheel drive it would make more sense to put wider wheels in front but this rule of thumb applies for Drag cars.. Either way the tire size doesnt change but for looks i keep the wider set for the rear.. With that said, I believe if you were to check out audi A3 stats, the front is wider then the back..

[QUOTE=bkn;173340]Ah! I think you have it backwards Greddy .. the lower the number the more aggressive the offset (hence why the stock A3's run a stock offset of 52-54) and this setup is more aggressive.
At least - this is what I have been telling myself ... lol[/QUOTE The offset depends on the width of the rim. .Therfore you could have a 52 or 54 offset with a smaller width rim..It depends on The design of the rim.. offset is the measurement from the center of hub, aka where the bolts are positioned to the other side of the rim.. If you still dont believe me, try it your way and see for yourself..
