i picked up a deck on boxing day thinking it would be an easy install, however i have had 2 different wire harnesses neither worked. and the only dash kit ive had access to at the moment was not clean at all(over laped on the top, and the sides didnt line up)

does anyone here have any experience with the install?

i also picked up the pac swi jack and now finding out need the can jack too..

anyone know of a nice dash kit, the right wire harness, or a cheap place to get the can jack?

**ps, i put my black out grille and skid plate on...car looks GREAT!

ok so i have the swi jack and the can 2, dash kit, and a wiring harness for rear amplified system...the wireharness doesnt line up with the cars wiring system, has anyone sucessfully installed aftermarket deck in a3 with single din concert???

got everything installed properly.
had to play around with the wiring harness a little but, it turns out my initial problem was the can2 module was set wrong, changed it to the correct setting, and the deck started working

I was having trouble setting the steeringwheel controls, i was able to set the left side only.

I called Pac tech support and they told me to just try to get one of the buttons working so you know the speed at which it needs to be set...5 min on the phone, i was able to get the volume set with a thumb flick, set it 3 times to make sure i had the right speed and then programmed all buttons. WORKS GREAT!

scorshe dash kit fits nice, but the finnish is nothing close to stock... i noticed ppl on other sites saying audi makes a dash kit for aftermarket setero, if anyone knows the part number, or has one for sale pls let me know.
