2001 Audi S4 issue
okay so today unfortunately i got a flat i quickly pulled over and starting to change my tire as i was closed to done i noticed that the clearance between the rim and the break was very minimal not really thinking about it i hopped in my car and tried to go unfortunately nothing the rim was rubbing up against the break caliper as i was trying to move i cut into my hub somehow now i need a new rotor. this was apparently the stock spare from the dealership. i must say Audi is very dumb if they didn't supply a proper tire can someone comment who has experienced this it seemed like the rim needed a spacer to properly fit. or what i have came to think was maybe the spare only works for the rear wheels because the brake caliper is smaller so maybe i was supposed to take the rear good wheel move it up to my front flat and put the spare on the back can someone let me know so this doesn't happen. im new to Audi and i love my S4 and am currently without it for the night because i don't want to drive on a cracked hub
Also if anyone has a rotor for me in the Burlington area it would be greatly appreciated

Original Avus 17" wheels work just fine over the front brake calipers. My guess it is not the stock spare for an S4, maybe a stock wheel from an A4.
FYI: S4 stocks are 17" x 7.5 ET45, I believe.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I got to see this car yesterday and examine the spare in question. On first glance the spare does appear to be OEM Avus like the rest of the cars wheels. It was dark and we didn't have a flash light to really examine the difference. We will keep you posted on the results.

The rotor diameter is not the issue. The contact issue reported by the OP is the large size of the B5 S4 brake calipers contacting the inside of the rim spokes.
Something is wrong with the hub spacing if the stock caliper is rubbing on the stock Avus Rim. Are there any aftermarket parts installed?
