New to the forum but after answers from anyone who can help.

I have a 2001 1.8TQ with around 80K on the clock. Brought in Aug 09 and after running fine till Feb 10 the transmission light comes on whenever i start the car. After running for around 10mins the ESP kicks in, a proper jolt and loss of power, then the car runs ok but at a restricted power. I haven't been running the car recently due to health issues but today the car cut out completely whilst driving with the oil light in the centre of the dash coming on and the battery light coming on.

On restarting the car started fine but with the same old dash lights coming on.

Any ideas????

Get someone to get the error codes, it could be a lot of things, its way easier to narrow it down with the codes.

Will do. im gonna take it to a local garage and get it put on the machine. dont really want to take it to audi straight away coz it may be easy to fix and i know they will charge through the nose.
